For more than 60 years, NASW members have made a collective impact on the institutions and policies that help millions of people achieve better lives in their communities. NASW sponsors award programs to honor the highest social work achievements and hosts conferences to showcase excellence throughout the profession.

We also coordinate state-based and nationwide celebrations and campaigns to help educate the public about the many roles of social workers.


NASW New Mexico Annual Conference 2026

The NASW-NM Annual Conference is a statewide gathering of social workers, educators, advocates, and students, where they learn, share, and collaborate to advance the field of social work.

If you have a passion for teaching, presenting, or sharing innovative practices, we invite you to submit your proposal. We invite all formats of teaching and learning, including workshops, panels, experiential activities, and presentations.

This continuing education series is designed for behavioral health professionals seeking to enhance their skills and maintain certification.While especially relevant for Community Support Workers (CSWs), it also benefits Therapists,Counselors, Social Workers, and Certified Behavioral Health Professionals.

Monthly live and on-demand workshops cover practical topics like burnout prevention,neurodivergence awareness, bilingual communication, co-occurring disorders, and building collective resilience—equipping participants to better serve their communities and support their own well-being.

Approved CEUs:

  • NM Counseling and Therapy Practice Board for LADAC, LMFT, LMHC, LPAT, LPC, and LSAA.
  • NM National Association of Social Workers for LCSW, LISW, LBSW, and LMSW.
  • The New Mexico Credentialing Board for Behavioral Health Professionals for CADC, CPS, CPSW, CPI, CFPSW, SCPS, CWF, and CS.
  • Other certifications and licenses may be eligible for CEUs. Confirm eligibility with your credentialing board.
  • Funding

    Funding is provided by the Health Care Authority, Behavioral Health Services Division. CEUs are available to all New Mexico-based behavioral health professionals.

    Accessibility

    All Zoom trainings will include Spanish language interpretation. ASL interpreters are available upon request at the time of registration. Please submit requests via registration at least 10 days before workshop. All trainings will meet 508 compliance standards.
